Projects

How Tempr moves from scoped project work to customer approval, signature, and payment.

Projects are the center of Tempr once a lead has moved beyond intake.

If you need the product-entry workflow specifically, read Adding Items To A Project.

What A Project Represents

A project ties together:

  • the customer
  • the scope of work
  • measurements or product lines
  • pricing and totals
  • comments and history
  • proposal presentation
  • signing and payment
  • downstream scheduling and fulfillment

Project Lifecycle

Common project states include:

  • Lead
  • Presented
  • AwaitingDeposit
  • PendingPO
  • InManufacturing
  • PendingScheduling
  • PendingInstall
  • PendingFinalPayment
  • Completed
  • Closed

Separate from that, a project also carries a sale state of Unsold or Sold.

Products Area

The Products area is where internal users add and configure the line items that drive quoting, approval, work orders, and downstream fulfillment.

For the full item-entry behavior, including datasource-specific config panels, row errors, and pricing resets, see Adding Items To A Project.
